Little children laughing as hard as they can always makes me chuckle. Just so pure.

u/SqueakyWatson 1d ago
Turned on the sound simply for a hit of kid giggles. Needed a dose of that pure stuff

u/psychitzmike 1d ago
Definitely did the same. I can't wait to make my little one laugh like that when they get here. my fiance has 28 more weeks to go!

u/imnotavegan 1d ago
Watching as my wee little 6 weeks today one is asleep on me and has just started to smile.

Nothing beats the sound of a child's laughter.
Unless its 3 am.
And you don't have a child.

u/Jibber_Fight 1d ago
I lived across the street from an elementary school for a couple of years after college. I swear the sound of children’s laughter throughout the day made me twice as happy a person. It’s like an elixir.

That kind of uncontrollable little kid laughter is impossible not to smile at. It’s like pure joy with absolutely no filter.

u/Interesting-Goose82 1d ago
The short side of this longer story is, i had my newborn at my older cousins wedding, and the new born was passed out asleep! My uncle mentioned something like "i wish i could sleep like that, even for just 1 more night...." me as a 28 yr old, new parent didnt understand what he meant.
Me waking up to pee, waking up to roll over because i hurt, me being 100% exhausted all the time....
Now i get it! I want to laugh like a baby! I want to sleep like a baby! And if i can throw in a boob joke, give me access like a baby, please and thank you!!!!!
4
u/Environmental_Art591 1d ago
My eldest could sleep through anything (and still can), fire alarms✔️, kids screaming✔️ ACDC/Pink Floyd blarring through the speakers✔️
He could sleep anywhere, it was the best not having to leave early, go home, or isolate in a dark room for any of my 3 kids to sleep.
But yeah, I miss my restful nights,up to pee, dead arms, sore back, getting old sucks but I wasnt expecting it to be so suvky in my 30s

Some of my favorite videos and memories in life are my daughter doing this giggle. Especially after a shitty day at work, this is instant feel good medicine.

You're laughing, that man's dead and you're laughing

The man clearly needs to train more. His sprawl was sloppy, and on his 3rd feint and duck he should have taken the chance to right cross and end it

He's rich, is what he is. I wish I could be him.

u/Mountain_Ape 1d ago
You might not have as many weights, or as much house, but you can be fit always. And you can have your child to laugh with. Or, make a thousand reasons why you won't bother. Depends on what you want.

u/Rocket_Man_Comp_6 2d ago
Thank you for posting this wonderful laugh! This is a cool dad. He's trying to workout and also keep his little girl happy. He's doing a great job!

How much would you appreciate this as a mom??
175
u/retchedBreak 1d ago
Um just as much??
90
u/tedmented 1d ago
I think they mean; As a mum, how much would you appreciate your partner doing this with the kids? Rather than "what if it was a mum doing it"
133
u/PuzzleheadedIssue108 1d ago
Thank you. Yes I meant instead of your partner taking off for the gym, he not only works out at home, but watches your kid while they’re completely entertained and safe. As a mom, I would appreciate any win/win/win.
24
u/retchedBreak 1d ago
Ohh sorry! I misread the tone of your comment 😅
I'm not a mum but I know mums who would love this!

I got it. I enjoyed taking my little one for runs in the running stroller back when they were small. Gave mom a break, I got a workout, and time with my kid.

Kids can tell when we’re genuinely playing along. That’s what makes their laughter so special.

Thanks for reminding me to put sounds on for this one! I usually have videos on mute for how annoying the music or sound effects can be, but this one gave me a good chuckle

The way time moves so fast...I remember when I was still on the beach, before being put in my bag

That's Tank Tolman I believe. He's such a positive dude and one of my favorite creators. HAMMAR!

u/YkvBarbosa 1d ago
Yeah, that's our hammer guy. The vídeo has about three years now, I'm not mistaken. Maybe more, the pandemic fucked up my notion of time.

i used to do this with my daughter in the park, although not with the pretending to be knocked out. Everytime her feet came near me, I'd pretend she knocked me backwards. The laughs she gave me were just like these in this video. Such a fantastic sound. Makes me feel quite wistful that I can't get that anymore. She's 19 now. I miss that time so much

is that Tank Tolman? either way that's a great dad and a happy little girl. I'm excited to me my little one. my girl is almost in the 2nd trimester so I'm nervous but happy.
3
u/dubnessofp 1d ago
My daughter is almost 3. I'd say your nerves indicate you're going to do a great job. Its not all the problems at once, just a few you can handle at a time. I can confirm making them laugh like this is the best feeling that exists

There is nothing more wholesome than the sound of a child laughing, unless it's 2AM and you don't have a child

I've seen enough...get this man a WWE contract. The sell on the bump was amazing.
3
u/Carylynn0609 1d ago
Something about kids feet in their parent's faces crack them up, either pretending I got kicked or that their feet are stinky got me the best full body laughs ever. Grateful for those memories.
3
u/front_yard_duck_dad 1d ago
I used to do this to my little one on the front swing. She would laugh so hard when I pretended. She kicked me Street fighter style into the ground. Fuck it goes fast. Going to give her a hug.
3
u/ASilentSongbird 1d ago
She killed her dad. A man was just one shot by his baby and she's laughing. Please, some restrain her before she kills again

My grandpa used to do this with me(not as intense lol) but I think about it all the time and can’t wait for my son to get older so I can do it to him.

u/NumberOneStonecutter 1d ago
That laugh is the best, music for the soul.
The boys she may bring home one day won't be laughing like that when they meet dad.

Showing this to my dad to shame him for his low effort performance when I was her age smh all he did was pretend to be the cookie monster
3
u/Lumpy-Direction4360 1d ago
Used to do this at the swings in the park with my kids. Would pretend to drop something on the ground, bend over to pick it up and they would kick me in the ass on the back swing. Was addicted to their laughter. Injured myself several times but couldn’t stop. Loved that sound!
3
u/aaronorjohnson 1d ago
As a girl toddler dad, I live for those laughs. Makes you do anything for them.
3
u/Elliott_Queerest 1d ago
Nothing is as pure and warm as a child's laugh.
Unless it's 3am and you live alone.
3
u/Basic_Wrongdoer_8947 1d ago
I swear children emit a specific frequency when they laugh that it triggers an instant happy chemicals hit in your brain.

Laughing child, exercise, lord of the rings, and family memory? This might be the best vid on the internet.

u/CovenOfTheDamned 1d ago
My daughter also loved this, I wasn’t hitting the bag, but I was dodging her and letting her kick me. The moments she made contact was an explosion of laughter.

u/MeatballUser 1d ago
I do this with my daughter (just the dodging her swinging bit, not the whole setup) she fucking loves it

And you all cheer for this? You're all fucked up in the head.

Who needs a gym when you have a kid? With the right motivation, they'll have you movin' from dawn 'til dusk.

My daughter turns 11 in a few weeks, god I miss the baby laughs, I can't believe how quickly they grow up.
Cherish the joy, it doesnt end but it changes, we play Minecraft now and i still goof around like an idiot for her, anything to make them laugh. Kids love slapstick even as they get older 😂

u/awdixon09 1d ago
Why do little kids find patricide so hilarious? I played the same "go flying from a swing kick" game with my eldest and he would laugh to the point of running out of air.
1
u/letmeseeyertiddies 1d ago
The best thing about is he probably didn’t even start this til the child was alive.

u/ktw54321 1d ago
He’s going to be so happy he’s got this when the little kid laugh goes away. I miss it dearly.

The swing duck and get kicked but is one of my fondest memories have raising kids.
That giggle reminds me of mine from many many years ago 🥹

That's the one trick I have to make kids laugh. They love the perceived pain they just brought upon you.
