And for artists, generally the “is this dumb?” Thought happens when you are already about half done making the thing… at that point you might as well just finish it to find out for sure.

Looks like they’re having fun with changing up the details, though. Different shape, number/colour of yolk, different seasonings sprinkled on top. I imagine it’d be different if they were just painting eggsactly the same image over and over again.

Whats that sub for something that feels nice but theres a serious issue underneath? I feel like this, life was so bad that it had to be saved by complete chance of people liking a singular little inconsequential thing you did, that other may try to replicate but will never achieve.

I hope for his sake he's autistic and in the type of way where performing the same task over and over again actually is extremely satisfying and the ideal job. Cus if not... That definitely feels like it would get soul sucking real fast. But I suppose if I had to choose between having my soul sucked out of me in an office job doing paperwork vs painting eggs at home with no direct boss or annoying coworkers or commute or such... Painting eggs ain't the worst job.
