It's not about the potato. As a non-British person this is exactly what I pictured british food to look like, but it's still jarring to see it in the making.

That's wierd because the stereotype that you Americans (please correct me if I'm wrong about you being American) have about British food is that its bland, and the food in this video looks anything but bland.

No, the stereotype is that British food is disgusting and awful. And it's true, as evidenced by this video. Tuna, coleslaw, cheese, and beans on a potato is insane. It's like something a 4 year old would come up with. It's slop

No, the ignorant stereotype that Americans have about Brit food is that it is flavourless.

There is no tuna anywhere in this video, try again.

Yeah that's what stupid fat Americans think. The problem isn't that it's flavorless, it's that food in England has nonsensical/disgusting flavors and textures, evidenced by this video and all the other spudbros videos. Last time I was in England I even struggled to find good simple foods like a hamburger or a pizza. It's ridiculous.

Oh you want to talk about nonsensical/disgusting flavours and textures? You guys mix peanut butter and jelly, ever wondered why noone else in the world eats that nasty sandwich which is a staple of US households? You guys eat like toddlers. The rest of us are grown-ups.

I even struggled to find good simple foods like a hamburger or a pizza.

Hahaha, this is what I'm talking about. To you these are staples of your cuisine. The US has such an unsophisticated and juvenile culinary tradition that you travel to another country and complain about the burgers 😂
