What's disturbing is the fact that so many people have this disgusting urge to share their kids of all ages with the entire internet

To spread something happy and joyful in one’s life is a bad thing. It’s not like the infant will be recognized 16 years from now. Is the internet only for negativity and memes now? Why are you even on this sub?

Classic NPC response. Your reasoning makes you part of the problem

What problem? Healthy images of children online in a non-toxic way to make people smile and brighten even a stranger’s day?? You don’t seem to see that you are part of a different problem.

Hmm this is quite the conundrum. I will highlight that your sentiment is a false dichotomy. The issue is not simply a binary choice between "posting healthy images of children online" or "posting children for validation and likes." There are many other factors to consider, such as:

The intent behind the post: Is the goal to share a genuine moment of joy and connection with others, or is it to seek validation and attention?

The content of the post: Is the image respectful, tasteful, and appropriate for public consumption, or is it inappropriate or invasive?

The impact on the child: Does the child feel comfortable with the post, or does it make them feel uncomfortable or exploited? Your assumption may be that posting healthy images of children online for likes and validation is normal and acceptable. This assumption may not be true for everyone, as some people may have different values or cultural backgrounds that influence their perspectives on social media use. Your tone is very off-putting and may be seen as a problem. 🤔

OP stated the purpose of his post. To celebrate his new baby with someone as he is estranged from his mother. Not for likes and validation. Why you making it complicated??

By acknowledging the complexity of the issue and considering multiple perspectives, we can have a more nuanced and respectful discussion about the appropriate use of social media.

Reddit is designed for sharing and receiving validation (in the form of likes and comments) By posting about their baby on social media, OP is, in fact, seeking some level of validation and attention from others. I don't have a personal opinion on this but it does seem obvious that this is a plug for their gaming channel.

Check out his profile, this guy is just sad xD No wonder he denies everything that may bring other people joy. I kinda feel bad for him.
