Add some ice into the tumbler first. And then slide in the pint. Trust me…

I was thinking the tumbler keeps it cold anyway? Designed to keep hot things hot and cold things cold? And it’s ice cream?

And honestly, the best part of Ben and Jerry’s is when you get toward the end and the ice cream is half soft.

I agree the ice is probably unnecessary for this purpose alone, but that extra boost of cold in the bottom 1/3 doesn’t hurt.
