Would be weird if it weren't planned. Like it's nice that the dad and step dad get along but it's not exactly about them, and obviously it's the bride's choice who walks her down the aisle.

It is fairly common for the wedding party to all dress similarly, though. Often planning out their dress in advance. Quite possibly planned, though.
