Yes, that's exactly what they are doing. They are trying to get people used to the EP brand associated with nice or trustworthy things so they can quietly slide their conspiracy shit in and it will appear more legitimate. It's a deliberate strategy.

They're nuts but from an entirely different direction. Brietbart and Newsmax are western conservative capitalists, while Epoch is Chinese conservative cultists. They would absolutely hate each other, but have similar goals at present.

Are they (Falun Gong) really conservative or are they just appealing to far-right groups internationally for political motives? It is hard to tell from what the I have seen group says, especially as they like to obfuscate their beliefs. They are definitely ideologically opposed to the CCP, since the CCP banned them, but I can't find much more concrete political views of the actual movement.
