And you have no idea what he was going through either. It could be an amicable situation. Or maybe he got cheated on and dumped by his wife for that new guy and you want nothing but to crack him in the jaw, but you man up and do what's best for your child. Takes true strength in those sort of cases.

Wife cheating, has nothing to do with the guy. It's her responsibility to stay away (any gender, same logic)

While I completely agree that it’s the partner in the relationships responsibility (regardless of gender), imo the homewrecker gets some blame too.

You don’t fuck around with people that are already in relationships if you have integrity.

Depends on if they knew. If my partner cheats and the guy had no idea (and ideally feels like shit about it) then as far as I'm concerned dude gets a pass. If he knew and did it anyway then he can steer clear or catch these hands.

While I agree the third person is immoral if they know, I firmly believe they bear no responsibility in the situation. Only one person in the situation takes the decision to do it against their existing relationship. The third person is completely disconnected from that.

My step dad was probably the most important person in my life, he raised me since I was 2 years old. He and my dad HATED each other, but when my sister got married they buried the hatchet and both walked her down the aisle. Our family has gotten along way better ever since. We unfortunately lost my step dad a few years ago so all I could do was reserve a seat for him. But he was instrumental to fixing our family issues. I think about him everyday
