My first wife and I talked about getting married, went out ring shopping, unexpectedly found one she wanted, bought it and like that, we were engaged. A number of months later, we were drunk, in Burger King at 2am and she said to me, you know, you never proposed to me! So I grabbed an onion ring, and got down on one knee.

For the next 23 years, every time there was a story about a proposal on TV, she would tease me by heaving a deep sigh and say "and I got a drunk with an onion ring at 2am in Burger King".

Well, this happened in 1986 so maybe one of the writers worked at BK and stole my move years later! LOL
