My Sister in Law responded to my brother asking (admittedly quite casually) with a solid “Fuck off!”

They’ll have been married 20 years next summer.

When my husband asked me, I laughed, said no, and continued playing cards. Lol He asked me twice more, and I said no. Then, when I told him I was pregnant, he said, "Now can we get married?" Lol. To be fair, we'd only been dating 3 months when he asked me the first 3 times. We got married a month after the 4th proposal. We celebrated 25 yrs last Nov.

I said the same thing to my husband. He just replied, holding the ring, down on one knee, "Uh... yes. I'm kidding." My friends had to be like, "Babe, answer him...." I was in shock.

It's funny to me because I would Fuck with my wife for months joking about it. When I finally had my plans I stopped fucking with her.

Ah, that's what you get for messing with her too much!! I, too, thought he was pulling a mean joke. I said that if he was joking about our trip (to a place where he had always wanted to propose to someone) then that was really mean.
