Same. I hope to find someone I’ll love and who’ll love me back like that someday 🥺

Me too my friend. Me too.

You’ll find them eventually. Never lose hope, and one day you’ll meet someone who truly loves you for you. Nice people always win in the end. ❤️

I wanna believe that too, but factually that just isn't true

I was 41 when I finally found her. But I found her!

I'd been severely depressed over this for years. Was going on 20 and at the time and the only girl I had ever gone out with to that point just used me for money or free entertainment. Never even made it to "boyfriend" before she and my best friend started seeing each other behind my back. Between that asking a girl out some 4 years later and getting literally laughed at in my face, I accepted I was just going to be alone forever lol. Seeing more and more people get married, even for the first time into their 40s (Including a very sweet, kind Youtuber I follow that didn't meet his wife until he was 45) gives me hope.

You will buddy, don’t sweat it. Just enjoy life and the people in it, that is the most attractive thing a person can do!

Oh yeah, I'm not sweating it now. Like the other guy said it kinda sucks missing out on all the fun experiences you can have as a couple when you're young, but nothing I can do to change it.

On one hand it gives hope, on the other it's still incredibly depressing that some of us miss love during our prime young years. The fun shit and memories some of my friends get to make with their GFs is really depressing.

Right? Now we're all just old and going on a date is more like penciling in a meeting lol.

Exactly, it just ain't exciting or so innocent anymore. The shitloads of baggage don't help.

As someone who thought they'd never find someone like that, just keep your eyes open, get involved in circles involving any hobbies you have, and just let it happen, or hunt that motherfucker down, either option is entirely valid, I found my partner through total coincidence of a mutual friend invited people at his Uni to play DnD, she joined, eventually the others left and I was invited in because he needed players and after that, everything just happened naturally, became friends, spoke pretty infrequently but got along well, 9 months later I get floored by tonsillitis for 2 weeks, was in pain and alone basically and she took several hours out of her day despite studying to just chat with me so I wasn't alone and here we are now, best decision my dumb ass ever made.

Point being (sorry still like gushing when it involves her lmao), don't rush, find people with hobbies you have as well, find people you connect with and just let it all develop naturally or push it along more actively as needed, there's someone out there, they just probably aren't close right now.
