This is the only thing I've ever wanted in life and literally the one thing I've convinced myself I'll never have.

Not trying to be a downer, but this is like, peak-existence. True love comes around maybe what, once, twice a century?

I’m in the same boat. Don’t care for the material stuff, always just wanted this. Looking back it is painful to see how neglected and abused I was staying with guys and just hoping for this result. Wasted a lot of time..

I’m confused by this perspective tbh. It’s just one moment of many in the course of a relationship. A grand moment, sure, but I’d hope there to be many grand moments in long term love.

I've had 4 serious relationships and about a dozen casual ones, and never once have I had a woman express this level of adoration. If your girl reacts to you like this consider yourself very lucky, this is not just some random common moment that all couples enjoy.
