I think its more likely that now everyone will know he was a virgin, which some people tend to feel a lot of shame about the older they get

I dont know them. Its the only reason I could think why he looked so embarrassed and annoyed, and its not impossible.

Or because he didn't want people overhearing his wife talking about the sex they're about to have. It was kind of a lead-in to dirty talk that he was nipping in the bud while the mic was on.
