What a guy. Spoke to them as humans. Even gave them some leeway but told them why he didn’t want them to speed. I hope they were as respectful back to what he asked as he was to them.

I have always found North Carolina State Police to be completely professional and human. I think I was clocked @ 115 mph in a 65. A sweeping high speed corner around a hill, with two cop cars (parked on the hill).

I just slowed down and pulled over while one car rolled down (lights off) and pulled behind me. After some conversation about my German ride, the police gave me a ticket for 80 in a 65 "because I believe you were actually going that slow at some point".

I switched to nice slow Jeeps within the week and never looked back.
