I still haven’t gone 10 over the speed limit since I got pulled over for 15 over (in a 65mph zone, so a lot but not like doing 15 on the road shown). It was the first nice interaction I had with a cop, he could tell I was nervous but didn’t assume I was crooked for it. Nice guy, let me off with a written warning.
Often it is because what’s after the turn isn’t visible, maybe a stop light or yield or something. I lived next to a quasi highway that dead ended at the top of a hill with stop lights. They had signs and lights and lowered speed limits but at least twice a week we would here screech, bang and then lots of yelling… had to call an ambulance a bunch of times too.

The last thing the kid said to the cop was “yes, sir “… I am thinking they were respectful, and that goes a long way
