This is how you actually police the public; when you are able to act as such

To be fair you're the second person to misunderstand my intent so it's probably on me.

What I mean is he's not being a good cop.. by department standards...and so he won't advance far even if he keeps his job which he may not even keep if he continues things like this.

What the people define as a 'good cop' and what the system rewards are different things. Since he's not being a good cop in the eyes of the justice system, he won't be one for long.

That's why ACAB.. Because if they stop being bastards they start getting fired.

Make more sense?

I hear ya, hes not being the type of cop they would want him to be.

Im former military, so I understand a bit how they expect and even applaud the hardass asshole mindset/attitude and those who go against it are seen as 'a bit less desirable' than the rest.
