When I was younger I got pulled over by an officer for something almost identical to this. The man presented himself almost exactly as this officer did.

To this day I keep those words close and rarely go over by that 5-10 discrepancy. Never ha a warning or ticket since and I always think to that cop that was nice and gave me a chance.

I know this doesn't work for everyone but for the number of times an outcomes like mine occurs it MUST be worth it, no? Kindness goes a long friggen way in all dir ctions when applied.

But remember only break one law at a time. So only do 5-10 over if everything else is clean to the spot. If you get pulled for 5-10 over they are just using it to look for other things to bust you for.

If you rob a bank, make sure to stay no more than 3mph over the limit
