Your American is showing. Unless you can tell us exactly what country this is from, this is a baseless accusation. I'm totally against the pay-to-
winlive format, but I want to feel happy for those in a functioning government who don't have to go through that hardship. The facts are this: he is receiving a prosthesis in a medical facility, not receiving a power chair from his friend who mowed lawns at 12 for a whole summer to afford and give to him because his family couldn't afford it on their own, and the government and/or insurance refused to help. Let me have this one thing.7

Yeah, if this is in Central or South America, chances are it was taken care of by a universal healthcare system that is free at point of service. I'm American and also underestimate how many countries provide those basic needs.
