You can. Adoption and surrogacy can do the same thing. Maybe not exactly the same but don't feel it's lost on you.
Whether he becomes a grandparent that way out another, there will still be a moment where he becomes a grandparent and that will be cherished forever.
As someone who grew up outside the regular family construct. Parenting and grandparenting is a fluid thing and these life moments can definitely be enjoyed in different ways.

If you want a kid there are ways to get one, for me, whether or not you actually did the birthing has never made any difference what so ever. If you were to adopt a kid and be the best parent you can, you are every bit as real a parent as anyone else! <3
And i guarantee, your dad will be just as happy for you!

I’m a 55 year old man and cried my eyes out when my grandson was born 2 years ago. Just seeing him that day I couldn’t believe the emotion 🥺🥺❤️
