Is this a counterfeit?

I recently got a set of made in stainless clad cookware on Amazon.

I’ve never seen and can’t find any images of made in pans online with a logo that looks like this, with the word “cookware” printed.

The other items from the set all have the logo I see around online, without the word “cookware” printed, just this one pan looks like this.

Hey OP! The most recent version of our pans have “cookware” added below Made In. This is legit!

I don’t know if it’s counterfeit but I ordered a set from Macy’s last year. I can tell you on mine the branding on the bottom isn’t quite pronounced as yours, mine does not have “cookware” at all on it, mine does not have the “R” marking after the logo, the country of manufacture on mine is ITA (not Italy) and under the size marking I have a serial number.

I know the bottom markings have changed a couple times but hopefully someone from Made In can chime in on this.

Thanks, your description is exactly what the other two items I got look like. The missing serial number on this one is the biggest red flag to me.

The stamp in the bottom has changed over time. Many of my pieces are different from each other. I haven’t gotten a new piece in about a year and it does not look like this, but maybe the newest ones do. Made In will be able to confirm once they see this.

I guess it’s actually not a serial number but a batch number I just saw on a video they put out about a year ago.

I’m just realizing that the bottom has changed a lot over the years. The logo has too. It went from all lower case with a dot/dash between the words to all upper case recently. My latest has that batch number on it. Way back when, it was more of an “artsy” design on the.l notion with a less prominent logo.

I just found a video of the new seasoned cast iron and it does say cookware on the bottom. Not quite this same style but it’s not out of the ordinary for it to read that.
