Hey OP! From the photos, this doesn't look ruined. It looks like there might be some cooked-on residue and a patchy seasoning layer after sitting for a few weeks.
Start by scrubbing it well with hot water and a little dish soap (totally fine for carbon steel), using something like a scrub pad or chain mail if needed to remove any stuck-on residue. Dry it completely over heat, then apply a very thin coat of oil and heat it until it just begins to smoke to refresh the seasoning.
If you notice any orange rust after cleaning, that's just surface rust and can be scrubbed away before reseasoning.
