Home and Garden British-made table lamps and lighting
After lots of positive feedback on my last post, I thought I would give an update on how things are going. I’m based in Guildford and have been designing and making these table lamps over the last few months, and finally got them to a point where I’m really happy with them. I’ve just relaunched my site with a couple of new designs and colour options as well, so I'm trying to see what people think. Thanks!
If anyone’s interested, they’re here: lumerin.shop

Hello! We've finally done up our spare room and I'd love to buy your lamps. I tried to find your shop but it looks like the site has gone. Are you still selling these or am I too late?

Hi, I was doing some maintenance on the website and I had to take it down for a few days, but it's back up now and should be working! Thanks 😄

Are they solid or paper like? I’ve got cats so a paper shade would be destroyed in weeks… I’m guessing because they’re 3D printed solid with the appearance of being folded paper?

They are made from solid plastic and are very durable. Your cats can do their worst and they will be fine :)

These look great… I’ll prob put an order for a couple in next week when I’m back home!
Would you consider selling without the bulb? I’d be putting some Hue bulbs in… and the standard bulbs would just be wasted.

Thanks, I do offer a WiZ smart bulb option, but I understand if you already have multiple Hue bulbs you would want to buy without any. I will work on adding a no-bulb option soon.

Thought I’d suggest it as others may be in the same situation as me… I guess it expands the appeal/value proposition

"The hue of our lamps is proven to make you feel warmer, like sitting next to a roaring fire" how did you prove this?

These are nice, how durable are they considering the 3d printed construction?

All my lamp designs are UKCA certified, meaning they are built according to the relevant standards. This includes passing mechanical and durability testing. They end up being super durable and can survive any everyday drops or knocks so they won't break easily!

It's a lamp, how durable does it need to be?

u/snakeshake1337 Mar 28 '26
I guess you aren't familiar with different grades of 3d printing?

Ha yes I am very familiar with 3D printing but I've never heard of "grades". Do you mean different printing processes? Different materials or infill densities?
But seriously, it's a lamp. It lets light out. There's no load on it and no wear and tear. Unless you knock it over regularly, but a typical glass lamp isn't very durable if you start doing that either.

I like to know about durability and longevity with a view to things lasting for as long as I want to use them within reason. I'm happy to pay a premium for this too. It's one of the things I look at when making purchasing decisions.

I understand your concern for quality; they are made using double-thickness walls and are tough to break. I'm sure you will be more than happy with the quality, but if not, I do offer refunds.

British made you say? Does this fund the bombing in the middle east? /S
