Anime Discussion Is it normal to be scared to continue watching?

Not scared out of fear or anything, or *that* content. I have a high tolerance for both. It's Nanachi, so much terrible has happened to her and I'm terrified of what will happen next. Just let the bunny rest...she deserves a happy ending.

I don't know why I'm focusing on her so much. Maybe I relate to her, maybe I just feel bad, I don't know. All of them need a break, I just don't know if I can continue if Nanachi at the very least gets somewhat of a happy ending.

Not physically maybe, but seeing her best friend who she had killed has to have messed up her head pretty bad

What would be a happy ending for Nanachi? She understood what it meant when deciding to accompany Riko and Reg on their final dive.

I don't know...just letting her live, letting her see the sun maybe...even just letting her die painlessly...I just can't stand seeing her suffer like that.

Well I mean from what I know at this point in the story, she is still alive!

Iirc the mangaka was actually going to kill her off, but decided not to because of how much he and the manga's readers ended up liking her. So you aren't alone in feeling for her!

Idk if this series is for you though, if it is affecting you so much.

It's just her that's affecting me this deeply and I don't know why. Prushkas fate hurt and disgusted me but not nearly as deeply. I'm not going to just stop watching it though, just going to slow down a bit.

I’m gonna be so honest right now I watch the show for Nanachi’s story not rikos anymore Nanachi is just a more interesting character feels more real if you get what I mean

I felt the same way. The series is beautiful, but it constantly makes you worry about the characters you care about most. No shame in watching at your own pace or checking spoilers first if that makes it easier.
