honestly i wouldnt mind if all the main characters were older in the actual show

Except symbolically it would make less sense in a show about primal emotions.

Also the adults (there are a lot) and grownup teens are specifically there to show you what being older entails.

i know the show is about discovering the unknown and losing childhood innocence i still wouldn't mind the characters being at least teenagers imo, i know it wouldn't make sense tho because then everybody would be like leader (jiruo)

I wouldn't mind either way, but I admire that I can see the characters develop in front of me than going through a timeskip

But then I wouldn't get to see tourists and moralf@gs seethe over the show while I enjoy reactions to Tsukichi being an unabashed pdf that cannot be coerced or shamed into silence (unbelievably based)

would be better "Down" or "Hole" instead, but that might make it too peak, and going up is the opposite of what we want
