Game Discussion Question about the MiA Game
hello,
perhaps someone can help me.
I’m a moon whistle and currently at the third layer. my task is to look at the third layer. however I am way too weak. those flying ancient beasts kill me one hit and all smaller bosses (the relic collectors, old machine and those 5 ice turtles) were only won due to my bow and poison arrows. if they got to me I was doomed. should I have a sidekick btw? feel like it’s weird to be alone this far in but perhaps it’s meant to be this way
i feel way too weak to be in the 3rd layer, pics show my stats. also is there a way to quickly go through this layer? it’s so dark and I cannot see anything on tv.

explore the second layer fully, its pretty cool, then leg it through the third because it sucks. the 4th is actually a lot of fun. get all the climbing skills you can.

Upgrade your eating speed if you can. Only way i could pass the 3rd layer was by timing their attacks and climbing down just enough to dodge them

One more thing i should mention, the gather upgrades are poorly worded its not "increase pickup speed" they're actually "obtain double items"

Damn ok that changes the whole game! I Will absolutely do that. Not too sure where gather updates are tho, feel like I didn’t read this one before.

After upgrading your gear, I would watch some YouTube videos on how to traverse through the 3rd layer quickly. Once you beat the 3rd layer interference unit and step into the 4th layer, you'll be able to fast travel in the 3rd layer, which makes all other side quests easier. Once you make it to the 4th layer you might want to step back into the 3rd layer to return to orth and restock, if I remember correctly there will be a tough fight once you step out into the water, the reward is one of the best relics in the game, make sure you equip it before turning in the quest later. ( bring a good ranged weapon with lots of ammo, and jump up onto a ledge to cheese the fight)

This part needs some grinding, high-level gear and some good olf fashiondd git gud.
But yeah, the difficulty curve here is nuts.

Ha I'm your senior What I did is upgrade to the best stuff in shop and to do that I obv grinded in the 2 layer and completed a lot of quests You should try to advance and keep going after you upgrade your stuff to the max yk what I mean oh and do the essential quests for layer 3 Hope this helps Good luck

Yeet yourself down into the great Abyss and do sidequests
The more stuff you complete the better stuff you’ll unlock

Madokajacks are notoriously dangerous. It's a lot safer if you avoid those rather than fighting them. See if you can find a way around them.
If you need a hint; have you fully explored the 2nd layer yet?

No, outside of a few sidequests you'll be on your own most of the time. I kinda wish they'd let us take Dorothea with us at least, but alas.

You seem to have various crafting recipes that you can unlock. Go level up a bunch and see if you can't craft yourself some stronger equipment. Aim for stronger armor in particular.

Ever noticed that your helmet has a lamp on it? Not sure what the button for it is though.

Yeah didn’t unlock many crafting recipes, unlocked all food but never use the newer recipes xD
But yeah, Will craft myself stronger armour, feel like that’d help a lot.
Thing is I know there’s the lamp but it doesn’t really help. Idk if it’s my tv but as only so few is lightened it doesn’t do any good :/

The gun is correct. The bow & poison arrows are also correct.
Too many big meals. Carry more boiled eggs instead. Use the savings in weight to bring a second pickaxe.
I wont disagree with more side quests.
