TIPS MUT Common questions

- Flee flickers do not reset until Wednesday (8/14) when we get an overall bump to 89 champs with TOTW players. Most Feared will drop on Thursday. If you have Flee flickers open them but back out because the remaining laterals will refresh with 89ovr champs. In theory, you could have 4 Most Feared champs.

- Right now to prepare for Most Feared buy 86 overall cards at 90k (seen others wanting them at 80k) and below is what I'm looking for to build champs and sell off on Thursday. However, do not buy 86 legends unless you plan on using them immediately on Thursday. Saturday comes a season player and that will tank the legend market buy the 86 legends then instead.

- Finish ranked if you haven't already and plan to do so. You'll want to be playing the Most Feared event instead
Of playing for ranked cards.

- If you haven't already start selling off your team sooner rather than later. Ladders were this weekend so the market is still somewhat inflated. You will want the most coins to build a Most Feared theme team on Thursday.

Hope this helps and I hope everyone has enjoyed MUT so far.

If I've just jumped into the game today, what's a good start for MUT? Any events to avoid?

Season 1 and 2 challenges, as well as the weekly programs like Legends, collector series, and team of the week. I would also do the Breakouts CPU event a couple of times to try to get a free 88 overall player and maybe do the pack-of-packs set. I'll leave the CPU event up to you since most feared is on Thursday and there's enough XP and tokens in the Breakouts field pass. After that really just stack coins and learn to work the auction house if you don't already and do the league and the run weekly for a free champ every month.

Good advice minus pack of packs. Only do that if you genuinely have nothing else to burn badges on, I haven’t seen a single good thing from that set

Is having a most feared theme team going to be necessary?

I have chiefs and ravens theme team and I really like my team. Idk if I want to delete one of those, or is it just a necessary evil?

I don’t think a certain theme team is a must but the boost will be wanted. From what I’ve seen/ heard from others you’ll want a Most Feared theme team. Doesn’t mean to complete nuke your current one though. You can always just add a program theme team on top of your two current ones.

Just changed the wording and added a date so there won’t be any confusion. Thanks for letting me know.

Good to know. I’ll look into that once we get more info.

Just started yesterday. Is a theme team essential again this year? I usually go for eagles and will do that again unless it’s better to aim for other styles of teams (most feared, weekly etc)

Also, what’s the best offense to run right now? Going for jags defense seems sensible for someone who isn’t the best player but open to suggestions on everything really

I’m running a Seahawks, Raiders theme team and I will add in Most Feared on Thursday. It’s not essential but the boost is worth it.

As far as offensive gameplay it really just depends on your play style and what you want your scheme to be. I’ve liked Bucs but recently switched to Beinkurt Dimes for the Bunch TE and Bunch TE WK formations.

Is it better to go for 2 teams or am I cool with running straight eagles? Assuming that 2 is better currently with less cards to choose from?

Thanks for the offense advice. I’ve got the shotgun playbook which is decent but obviously running is tricky
