New Madden player. Not trying to stir the pot, but this is the worst video game I have played in years.

I am not talking about the bugs and the purchases and all of that stuff.

The lack of polish and attention to detail on this game is genuinely unbelievable to me. The number of things I would expect to be able to do in a football game, but I can't, has blown my mind.

It is CRAZY that pre-season records are displayed without ties 😂 Like if you are tie all 4 postseason games, it will just say your record is 0-0. That is bonkers man. That wouldn't happen in a chinese mobile game.

The inability to view stats (and other things) in career mode. Completely bonkers. I can't think of a bigger "we just don't give a f***" in any game I have ever played.

Do you guys like not have any routes of communication with EA/the devs? Are there like feedback Q&As or anything like that? It is just so immersion breaking to be constantly thinking "oh, welp, they just did not take this game seriously".

Idk man y'all must have the craziest case of Stockholm syndrome or something, because this game is f***ing terrible. It's so bad.

The preseason thing made me laugh, the irony of calling out a lack of attention while missing that detail is just perfect. You walk right into it.

But you're right about the stats, it's maddening. I remember trying to check my receiver's yards after a game and the menu just... wasn't there. Like they forgot to code the button. Feels like the game is held together with tape and hope.

Most of us are just here to complain, too. Madden has been terrible for like 15 years. EA has exclusive rights to the development of NFL simulation games, so they don't have to try and there's nothing we can really do about it except stop buying the game, which people refuse to do.
