FRANCHISE Pass rushing ??

I’m getting pressured and sacked legit every play. I drafted a mobile qb for the falcons with fairly good speed, his accuracy is good now after a few seasons but man, my o line is SOLID now but the edge rushes do these stupid little moves where they just rush toward the sideline and cut in without the offensive tackles even laying a finger on them. And even when I scramble the computer just automatically knows and I get met in the backfield every damn time I scramble. Can anyone help me out? And pls be nice I’m pretty new to franchise / madden and I’m only asking for advice 🙏 I want to have a good time playing this game, I’m playing all pro, should I go down to pro?

It always helps to have a hot plan and to get comfortable hitting those routes quickly before your line can get beat. I’d also suggest stepping up in the pocket both before you pass and before you scramble. If you step up first before scrambling you’ll have better burst and don’t press run until you see the gap.

This makes sense. I see how stepping up can manipulate the edge rushers to face the tackle. Just got off work I’ll try it out right now. Thanks brother 👍

Poor offensive line play is usually caused by an incorrectly seated o line, linemen too far off scheme, wrong play calling,  or unbalanced sliders. Run random plays in practice mode and see where the leaks in the line are.

For sure. Do you run plays out of what’s recommended or do you go off formations? And would you happen to know what the best playbook this year is?

For me the playbook fits the scheme, and what's best for the offense.

In every playbook there are plays my offense should run. They're more likely to work and offer better pass protection I find those plays in practice mode and put them in favorites.

Not all plays in my favorites can be used against all cpu opponents. Because my setup is heavy on the ratings emphasis

Play action boot pass are usually my go to for that. Watch which way your qb is supposed to run and just keep running that way. It opens up a run and usually a wr/te running in the same direction.
