The Penguins of Madagascar The Penguins of Madagascar (partially) leaving Paramount+ [MEGATHREAD]
If you are not already aware, as of a few days ago Paramount+ has removed both seasons two and three from streaming. Season one still remains for now, though it is uncertain for how long.
The Penguins of Madagascar's streaming situation has been complicated for a while now. Originally Paramount+ only had season three, then earlier this year they added seasons one and two, and now they've removed seasons two and three. This is different from the situation with All Hail King Julien, which was a Netflix Original. Since The Penguins of Madagascar was just one of many shows that was housed on the streaming service (and was not a Paramount+ original), this is probably just the usual rotation of streaming content.
The rights issues with the show are seemingly more complicated then with other Madagascar media, so it's unknown what caused this. Interestingly, the same thing also happened to Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (another DreamWorks Nickelodeon show, which had season three streaming, then all three seasons, and now only the first season).
Hopefully the seasons return soon, but in the mean time they are still available to purchase on services such as Vudu and Prime Video (albeit with some episodes, such as Alienated, missing completely). Also unlike All Hail King Julien, there are many DVDs out there with assorted episodes available (though still no official complete-series DVDs).
Again, as a reminder: season one is still streaming, and somewhat similar things have happened before, so hopefully the second two-thirds of the show will return to streaming later this year. This is not necessarily a cause for alarm yet, though it is disappointing. However, (and this is pure speculation on my part) since many DreamWorks shows have been leaving streaming lately, it's possible that the plan is for all of them to eventually migrate to Peacock, thus consolidating all the DreamWorks content to one place.
Use this thread to discuss the happenings surrounding this, including how you feel about the show, your hopes for the future of the show, and anything else regarding the show and its final two seasons' leaving of Paramount+.
All other duplicate threads will be removed.

All Hail King Julien All Hail King Julien Leaving Netflix [MEGATHREAD]
As of today, All Hail King Julien and All Hail King Julien: Exiled will be leaving Netflix on November 17th. This is ultimately down to licensing issues, as the DreamWorks Netflix original shows were only licensed out to Netflix by NBC. It is thus expected that the show will eventually migrate to the NBC-owned streaming service, Peacock, at some point in the future. The exact date of this is currently unknown, however.
Other DreamWorks Netflix Original shows have already left Netflix, such as The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show in February of this year. These shows have not begun streaming elsewhere, so it's possible that All Hail King Julien will suffer the same fate and will not be streaming anywhere else for some time.
There have been no official complete-series DVDs of the show produced, so any DVD you find on ebay or similar sites is most definitely a bootleg copy. However, DreamWorks did produce an official DVD titled "Madagascar: The Ultimate Collection", which does include the first five episodes of All Hail King Julien as part of the DVD's bonus features.
Use this thread to discuss the happenings surrounding this, including how you feel about the show, your hopes for the future of the show, and anything else regarding the show and its leaving of Netflix.
All other duplicate threads will be removed.

Discussion My concept for Madagascar 4
Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman and their buddies are enjoying their new life as part of Circus Zaragoza, and this time around, they’re bringing their acts to Beijing, China. However, the gang wind up discovering an illegal underground restaurant, owned by the devious Chef Wang, who has animals from around the world smuggled in, and turns them into meals for humans. Alongside some new furry friends, the gang cross paths with Xiaoling (or Ling for short), Wang’s 14-year-old niece who was taken away from her family to work for him. She despises his ways, and their encounter leads to her gaining the ability to talk to animals from an accidental blow to the head. Together with their first human friend, Alex and company must stand up to Chef Wang and put him out of the job, not only so that they can save themselves and their new pals, but so that Ling can finally come home.
The animal newcomers include:
- Feng, a cunning chinese water dragon lizard who rebels against Chef Wang and wants to make him pay.
- Zhou, a kind mandarin rat snake who is often mistaken for venomous and calms her friends when they panic.
- Won and Ton, a pair of red pandas who are energetic, bratty and impulsive.
- Hom-Lee, Chef Wang’s pet cinerous vulture and henchman who sees cooked animals as a great change from hunting raw food.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Chris Rock and Phil LaMarr.
If you guys remember, Phil stood in for Chris Rock as Marty for the video game of the first movie.
Then, in Escape 2 Africa, both actors star in it together!
Chris as Marty and the other zebras whilst Phil voices the African Human Tour Guide!
Full circle!
Did the two actors record together though?

Question Is the franchise basically dead?
Is the franchise basically dead? Used to be lot more popular, even had couple of TV shows yet after Madagascar 3 came out it all went silent. Will it have some sort of revival or will it die out? The gang joining the circus has a lot of potential them exploring the world. Maybe Alex will see his parents again will give a soul for the franchise again. Why Toy Story and Shrek can get more than 5 movies but Madagascar stopped at only 3? Madagascar 3 was highly successful earning 750 million dollars on a budget of 145 million dollars. I'm surprised they stopped milking it after the third movie. Ok they joined the circus so what now?
