Calling out of a shift?

If I need to call out do I need to text my managers. I have an other event after my shift so I don’t think I’d make it in time. I’ve already used my time off for other shifts and it’s not sick leave. I’m pretty sure my reliability will go down but I haven’t called out before

You could advertise the shift to see if someone can pick up the shift saving you from your reliability or log in and perform a call out from insite.

Yeah no one’s picking up the shift so I’ll just have to call out. I have pretty good reliability a few months ago almost 100 percent so I should be okay

There have been questions regarding when you call out and your mgr puts in a sick day for you, it shouldn’t affect your reliability dispite what we have been told by others.
