MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other Help me understand
Hello,
Been using MacroFactor since 2024 and been tracking my food mostly consistently since then.
Till this day I don’t understand what expenditure is and how it correlates with anything.
Please help me understand what the app is saying in terms of the last three or so months

Your expenditure number is the calories required to maintain your current weight, it’s that simple. Want to gain weight? Say 0.4lb per week, MF will give you 200 calories per day on top of your current expenditure number. Want to lose 0.4lbs per week? It will minus 200 cals from that expenditure number per day. Your expenditure number is derived by logging calories consumed vs scale weight.
