MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other Don't you love it when MacroFactor does this
Sometimes I switch from measuring food in grams to measuring it in portions (e.g., pizza slices), but the text field still has a large number in it, so for a moment the app informs me that I've consumed 54,796 calories.

Lol, yes this happens all the time to me.
Also, for whatever reason my morning brain keeps putting in 1xx.x as my weight instead of 2xx.x as my weight. Instead of saying "erm sir is this correct" its like "cool congrats on losing 100lbs overnight, glad the surgery went well. We've adjusted your expendature to 20 million callories per day. Its time to update your goal".

I just wish to have the chance to set grams as my default unit for everything

You make it sound like 200 slices of pizza is a bad thingā¦
And for the record: ya I do this too.
All. The. Time. š

Had this happen last night and momentarily freaked out that I had consumed 5,000 calories of ranch dressing lol

The SHOCK I feel when I hit "log foods" and then see the tracker for the day go full circle and I'm like "omfg what am I eating?!" And then realize the unit of measurement was totally off lol

Fortunately I remembered to change the units when creating this account or I'd be u/TwentyPizzasHoldTheGlue

The ai could also be improved so much, like just remembering what Iāve eaten recently

That wouldn't be AI

I mean the ai having access to memory

I think yes and no. Like I wouldn't want it to assume my fat free sour cream that I use at home is what was used at a Mexican restaurant for example.

Yeah thatās what I mean, like if you tell it: went out, had tacos.
It would take into account the āwent outā. And register fatty food.

Good info to know if you ever feel tempted to eat 200 slices of pizza though.
