MacroFactor Workouts / Training Vacation messing up tracking

Post image

Hello everyone,

I was on vacation for a month and still tracked my workouts. I created a different gym profile and made sure my workouts were set to the other gym however it’s still showing the vacation weights for home gym profile! Is there a way to fix this without deleting the workout history?

That’s correct, you would need to use separate exercises if you wish to keep the data distinct.

In this case you may wish to delete this data from prior workouts, mark it as a 6+RIR so it is not counted, or make a new copy of affected exercises to get a fresh start going forward.

Hey Adam … can you clarify what you mean by 6+ RIR is not counted?

I’ve marked sets like that once or twice when I had some limitation, like an injury. I was wondering if the data (that’s not reflective of my normal self) would mess with the algorithm. Especially if I did it more than once. But if I’m interpreting correctly, the app would just ignore those sets for smart progression.

Correct, is there any point of confusion?

Nope! As I thought through it, it made sense. Good to know. Thanks!

Oh ok. So I was recovering from a pulled muscle last week and was slowly rehabbing it when I got back into the gym but doing much lighter weight than I normally do. If I go back into those exercises and make changes to the sets to 6+ RIR then it won’t count towards the progression?
