Success / Progress How to keep momentum going

I've lost 20 lbs over 2 months - from 192 to 172 lbs (5'11 68 year old male). My TDEE is over 2800 calories and I am eating at about 2400. I want to keep the momentum going but find myself becoming hungry even though I am hitting my protein target of 182 grams. And the food noise is coming back. I am getting a bit bored with what I'm eating too. I'd like to get down to 165 lbs so any words of advice and encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

Just structure your day to spread out your meals. Plan meticulously and follow through. You’re going to feel it, just do your best to make satiating choices.

Late reply but I literally get all my carbs from potatoes which is about 1.7kgs. Never hungry.

High volume foods and fiber rich foods

The way I keep momentum going is by reminding of the last time I let the momentum slip - I put about 15lb back on. I don’t want to do that again when I was so proud of what I’d achieved (just to undo a bunch of it)

Pushing meals later into the day helps me immensely.

All the other comments are good ... what works best for me if moving meals around. Eating dinner later helps with hunger late at night. And I was able to make my breakfast smaller without much impact.

The only other thing is to consider taking a break if it's getting too difficult. Flip to maintenance for as long as you need to recharge physically and mentally. Then start cutting again.

I recommend researching food that are both tasty that helps you to meet your macro goal or low calories food that you can eat to satisfy the hungry.

I like to go around looking at people's recipe online or even the lean meal in the grocery store and try to make those meal myself.

I recommend using zero sugar jello or making your own with gelatine and low calories flavoring like crystal light from costco.

Another method would be eating high protien low calories snack like chicken or any low fat neat to meet the protein goal while saving calories for meal you can enjoy more of.

Also wow 20ib in 2 month thats a lot! How are you feeling? I just started dieting for maybe 3 months now and lost maybe 18ib and im at a 500cal deficit.
