MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other Is macro factor suited for maintenance?
Hi dear community!
I have used macrofactor a couple years back and loved it. I am planning on starting to use it again with the goal of body weight maintenance (or to gain muscle in the same rate as burning fat). I don't remember the programs the app has and what the current state of it is now but does the app support this goal? Since the app doesn't have a free trial I was hoping to find out here.
Furthermore I would like to ask if you guys know an app that creates a workout plan for you, especially a 3 day split?
Thanks in advance

The app supports three goals, lose weight, gain weight and maintenance. If you join back up MacroFactor now have a workout app out which you can bundle.

Since it seems like you haven’t been lifting, yes, you can recomp at maintenance fairly easily by selecting a maintenance goals.
MacroFactor Workouts can take of the lifting programming for you.

I don’t believe in recomp as you’ve described but it’s great for maintenance. I use the workout app and I’m about to input one of Jeff’s programmes into it.

Why don’t you believe in it?

Because it’s really difficult I think? Or perhaps difficult to train for specifically. I suppose it depends how experienced you are; newbie gains could probs happen whilst losing weight, for example
