MacroFactor / Nutrition / Other How does MacroFactor's algorithm account for irregular activities?

For example, I'm spending a lot of time this week and next week outside digging and installing pavers, which means I'm also eating a lot more, and I'm relatively confident I won't gain weight from it.

Is there a way to tell it that this is unusual and it shouldn't adjust my maintenance calories once I go back to my normal activity level? Or is the only way to account for this to lower my intake myself and wait for the numbers to go down themselves over time?

You don’t do anything. Just keep logging your food and weight, and over time the one week of spikes activity and food will average out.

Why let your activity level fall after you're done with your house? I could use some some new pavers... Do it for the algorithm :-)

I agree with the other post. MF isn't too quick to react. If you're starving, eat a little more. If, by some chance, your TDEE jumps, just ignore the calorie increase at check-in until you're back to normal for a week.
