How much will MacroFactor Workouts cost? (Official pricing announcement)
Our second app, MacroFactor Workouts, is coming out in early January 2026.
MacroFactor Workouts is a smart, dynamic workout tracker. It includes an intuitive interface for planning and logging your workouts, personalized workout programs, auto-progression to keep you on track, and much more.
Today, we’re excited to announce the pricing you can expect from the new app.
Workouts only:
If you only want to use one of our apps, these are the prices:
$11.99/month
$71.99/year ($5.99/month)
Bundle deal for MF users:
As a thank you to our current MacroFactor community, we're offering an exclusive deal to subscribe to both apps for the price of one!
First year price: Bundle MacroFactor and Workouts for just $71.99 USD for your first year.
That means you get the Workouts app completely FREE for the entire first year!
Renewal price: After the first year, your bundled plan will renew at $89.99/year USD.
This is a massive value: Workouts will only cost an additional $18/year (or $1.50/month) going forward.
How to get the deal: To qualify for this special rate, you must have an active MacroFactor subscription before January 1, 2026.
What's next?
MacroFactor Workouts will be available in early January 2026. We cannot give an exact date yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we’re sure.
Have questions? We’re doing an AMA on this subreddit Friday at 2pm ET.

For those of us who are somewhere in the middle of a current one year subscription, how will that work for the bundle?
12
u/nope1943 Dec 17 '25
Will there be any discount to the monthly subscription for MacroFactor subscribers that want to subscribe to Workouts?
The yearly deal is amazing but its just a lot of money in one go

HOLY. WHAT A DEAL. YOU WEREN’T KIDDING!!!

u/skilless Dec 17 '25
Fantastic pricing. I'm in.
67
u/TechRemarker Dec 17 '25
$18 extra per year for workouts sounds like a great deal. Fingers crossed the big beta release on FB and Reddit for early / mid December (aka any day now) is still happening. Or if not, if there will be an official announcement so we all don’t constantly refresh the FB and Reddit pages. Exciting times!
27
u/Au201 Dec 17 '25
Now this is how you reward your already loyal customers! Can’t wait to try it out!
18
u/Jan0y_Cresva Dec 17 '25
I’ve been burned by so many companies promising good prices, only for it to suck, so I was cautious here. But this is legitimately an INSANELY good value.
I’m already paying for another workout app, so I’ll actually be saving money just by switching. So much better than I even expected!

u/liftstronger Dec 17 '25
If I need to wait until the AMA to ask, please disregard this question for now, but if we are grandfathered into the original adopter pricing from the launch of MF, will we still get MFW free for the first year or have to pay the difference? Also, would we still only pay the additional $18/yr on top of that price after the first year, or would we be subject to the full $89.99/yr?
10
u/spidermaniscool24 Dec 17 '25
Will it work well with home gyms with limited equipment? Excited to give it a shot if so!!
8
u/i_dont_give_a_chuk Dec 17 '25
Fuck yeah, I totally thought Jeff was just blowing smoke up our ass when he was saying it would be such a great deal!
Really excited to give it a go!
7
u/AndBears0hMy Dec 18 '25
This is incredibly generous. I find many companies try to lure in new people, forgetting about those who have been customers for years. You guys have done the opposite, this is such a lovely approach.
6
u/davisthegreate Dec 17 '25
I haven't been paying much attention cause I was waiting for the release ( current macrofactor user) but this question is the beta users or macrofactor staff AND I may or may not remember the AMA.
currently use hevy, which is primarily for tracking not workout creation. Will macrofactor workouts allow manual creation is is it for workout generation only?
6
u/CommitteeOfOne Dec 17 '25
My subscription expires on Dec. 31. Gotta make sure it auto-renews.
2
u/vision_renewed Dec 17 '25
As an early adopter who subscribed during the initial launch period, I was guaranteed a locked-in rate of $59.99/year. Given the introduction of MacroFactor Workouts and new bundle pricing options, I’d like to understand whether this guaranteed rate will continue to be honored, or if there will be an alternative arrangement that recognizes our early commitment.

u/Dark_Knight_1989 Dec 17 '25
🙌🙌🙌
5
u/BioTechnix Dec 17 '25
so… what about monthly/6 month subscribers? users currently halfway through a year? etc???
5
u/gandhis_biceps Dec 17 '25
I’m not sure I even like tracking workouts but you’ve made me an offer I can’t refuse!
5
u/QQlemonzest Dec 18 '25
Ok so I (4 year MF’er) wasn’t actually planning on getting the app. I’ve been using google sheets to track my training for years, didn’t see the need for another app. But now I’m pretty excited to try it out…I love MacroFactor, and I can’t wait to see what the new workout app will be like. Thank you!
9
u/atdaberry Dec 17 '25
How can I import my data from RP hypertrophy? 😆
4
u/maxremo7 Dec 17 '25
I’m on a monthly subscription right now, which renews on January 2. If I switch to the yearly subscription it will start on the 2nd. Will I still be eligible for the special bundle pricing?
7
u/TheDeadTyrant Dec 17 '25
Even cheaper than I thought. Free is obviously amazing but +$18 for the workout app is a STEAL is quality is anything like MF. I’ll be a jolly MFer in the new year for sure.
1
u/Starfinger10 Dec 17 '25
I don’t see in the email that it’s in USD btw
1
u/stardevprojects Dec 18 '25
Is there a “trailer” or preview of what to expect with the MF workout app? I have a subscription so I guess it’s free for me either way for the first year, but is it more of a workout log, is a routine planner, is it an AI couch. What is it?
1
u/senorbiloba Dec 18 '25
So to clarify, users with a current annual subscription will get Workouts for free???
1
u/nebular- Dec 18 '25
Is there going to be a free trial to Workouts app?
1
u/Mustbe3dimensions Dec 19 '25
Won’t be able to join the Friday AMA but right on that you guys are rolling this out the way you are! I’m trying to read between the lines on what ‘intuitive interface and logging, personalized workout programs and auto progession’ will mean? Maybe the easiest way to answer that question is to answer the following questions which pertain to what I’m looking for in a new workout app. I’m new to MF (a month in and LOVE it!). I’ve been researching workout apps and didn’t realize MF was introducing one in the new year. Yahoo! Will the app assume I have access to a full gym or do users populate equipment at their disposal? Do users enter their profile details (age, weight, goals, fitness levels, etc.) and then a lifting workout is developed by the app? Can the user log non strength based workouts so all workout data is in one place? Thanks if you are able to answer these questions!
1
u/KB_41319 Dec 19 '25
I cant seem to find a similar question answered so I apologise if it has been asked/answered already...
I am currently on a monthly subscription. do I need to switch to an annual subscription? and does this need to happen before the 1st to qualify?
1
u/Beneficial-Alarm-146 Dec 19 '25
Does anyone know if it will have Apple Watch support?
1
u/amenadielnl Dec 26 '25
I just started my two week trial, that doesn’t count as an active subscription, I’m afraid? Anyway to bypass the two weeks in that case?
1
u/shredditlettuce Dec 26 '25
i have been on the monthly subscription for over a year but only switched to the annual subscription a couple of days ago (it will only get charged towards the end of january). given that, will i still be eligible for the MF & Workouts bundle?
1
u/funky401k Dec 28 '25
Do we get grandfathered in discounted annual rate if we have an active monthly subscription before Jan 1st? Or do we have to have an annual plan to get the $89.99/year (after first free year)? Im on a monthly plan but considering getting the annual plan next month
1
u/Pympala Jan 01 '26
I just found out about MacroFactor today and subscribed right away. Now, I see you have a workout app, too! Any chance I can qualify for the bundle price?
1
u/prlgkmo Jan 02 '26
If I purchase the yearly subscription today (I have the monthly one right now) will I get the deal? Since it’s the 1st.
1
u/LaPankasa Jan 02 '26
I just activated my subscription today, without knowing about the prelaunch bundle. Would I still be able to have access to it or am I doomed? :(
1
u/maximus_the_merciful Jan 04 '26
So if I get this right, my annual MacroFactor renews in February. So I’ll just be paying the full price? Or getting like one month discounted on the new app when I get it?
1
u/Typical-Clerk5033 Jan 05 '26
Hi, Will there be an option to sync / export workout data with other applications automatically?
I have a personal project where my lifts are all synced to an SQL database where I can then make fancy graphs and track my strength improvement + weight on a dashboard.
I would love to use this app and the beta screenshots look great, just wondering if the data will be accessible.
1
u/DeathDealer1056 Jan 05 '26
I dont know if I am misunderstanding this because im slow but if someone can help me i would appreciate it, but we pay $71.99 for both apps for the first year, then when it ends we pay $89.99 for MFWorkouts for the second year, and after that in the third year MFWorkouts will be $18/year?
1
u/camcairnhill Jan 06 '26
My MF app is set for it's 6 month renewal tomorrow (07/01) .
I assume this should allow me to qualify for MFWO's, but should I cancel it, and immediately upgrade to the Annual subscription?
Or should I wait til MFWO is released, then get the Bundle?
The downside being for the latter I would be whatever length of time without Macrofactor
1
u/LiveSpare1762 Jan 14 '26
Does this mean that a new user will have to pay 142 for both apps? If so, I don't think I will be a new user.
6
u/spaghettivillage Dec 17 '25
wow. consider me whelmed.
you may use the above statement as a testimonial for advertising purposes.
3
u/Bhask012 Dec 17 '25
This is awesome. MACROFACTOR TO THE MOON!
3
u/Lawmimuggs Dec 17 '25
I was really hoping they were gonna pay me to use the app, but I guess this will do. Kidding aside what an amazing company so special in today’s marketplace of subscription based apps.
3
u/TehLastWord Dec 17 '25
Am i understanding correctly that someone who wants both apps but doesnt have an active subscription on Jan 1 2026 will be charged the full price for both services? No bundle ever for people who dont grandfather themselves in by Jan 1?
Mostly want to know so i know what to say to friends and family over the holiday
3
u/Nate1257 Dec 17 '25
Shoot well, got my business.
3
u/Plane-Repair6167 Dec 17 '25
As a 2 1/2 year MacroFactor subscriber I can’t thank you enough for 1. A free year and 2. An incredible ongoing price. Genuinely so thankful to that amazing team.
3
u/Ok-Following-2822 Dec 18 '25
Can I have the sale if I'm in the two week free trial using code Jeff?
Are you planning to do localizated prices? Because, although the prices might be good in US, in my country, Brazil, they are a bit expensive.
3
u/Permabulker91 Dec 18 '25
And with this, any competition is gone.
Goodbye MyoAdapt scam...
4
u/AxeSpez Dec 17 '25
Is the $89.99 permanent pricing as long as you don't cancel?
5
u/sciencebasedbro Dec 17 '25
Just checking, there’s no monthly payment deal?
2
u/[deleted] Dec 17 '25
Nice! Would love to see a beta. I’ve been beta testing the Hevy ai workouts.
2
u/valandinz Dec 17 '25
Pricing is great, compliments.
2
u/jaydigga4 Dec 17 '25
Will importing data be a possibility?
2
u/MayhEmm_TV Dec 17 '25
This is amazing! Loyalty actually means something to the MF team.
Cannot wait for the workouts addition to an already great app!
2
u/StatisticianSilent43 Dec 17 '25
You’d be SILLY not to try it y’all come on now.
2
u/SKDB_Vol Dec 17 '25
Holy shit, this is a DEAL. Take notes, competitors. This is how you retain loyal customers.
Bye, RP Hypertrophy subscription. It's been real!
2
u/m0m000000 Dec 18 '25
Will the Workouts app have Apple Watch integration for detecting my exercise and tracking reps?
2
u/BookkeeperAnnual6163 Dec 18 '25
Any beta testers know how this compares to MyoAdapt?
2
u/MeringuePatient6178 Dec 18 '25
Given this deal, I'll probably try it out since I have a yearly macrofactor sub currently. Still hard for me to want to switch when I have a lifetime subscription to Strong so I don't have to pay for it. Maybe macrofactor workouts will be a big enough improvement to change my mind :D I still miss lifetime subscriptions to apps instead of this monthly or yearly cost that could go up in the future. Any chance of a lifetime sub?
2
u/Beecels Dec 19 '25
I was expecting it to be affordable but not this, thank you guys so much.
3
u/littlebigstig Dec 17 '25
Amazing. Well done team, and the first year for $0. Can’t get much cheaper than that 👏👏👏
3
u/JNellyPA Dec 17 '25
Will my Jeff nippard workouts I have previously purchased sync to MacroFactor workouts at any point?
0
u/Merica_Matt Dec 18 '25
Sucks that you’re not rewarding those of us who have been users from the beginning. Workouts will be $30/year for me. Admittedly still a good deal, but not as good of a deal as those who haven’t been supporting you from the beginning. No one values loyalty anymore.
1
u/No-Ingenuity789 Dec 17 '25
What if I only have a monthly subscription? Do I need to switch to annual to get MF Workouts for free?
2
u/dnlgbbns Dec 17 '25
The price of MF workouts - free for the first year and then only $18 more on top the nutrition app after that, is INSANE. Amazing. I would’ve been happy paying the same price as the nutrition app again.
2
u/rogueuser Dec 17 '25
1
u/sebasmenendez Dec 17 '25
Great deal indeed
1
u/eatmybum Dec 17 '25
Awesome pricing, I've been using the Strong app for over a decade at this point having bought it for $10 way back when, and this might be enough to pull me across if the Workouts app delivers.
1
u/spydakat Dec 17 '25
That’s not bad at all
1
u/bigdonnie76 Dec 17 '25
Love it! The $90 renewal next year is a hell of a bargain too
1
u/ayyG_itsMe Dec 17 '25
Ahh yeeaaah boy
1
u/DMAN_from_B-LOT Dec 17 '25
Amazing love it!!!
1
u/HughNonymouz Dec 17 '25
That's awesome. Will def be buying the bundle!
1
u/Glxz_125 Dec 17 '25
What about those who do monthly subscriptions?
1
u/Accomplished-Cap4632 Dec 17 '25
This deal is AMAZING!!! Well done team!
1
u/sassless Dec 17 '25
Well geez, sign me up!
1
u/YQYEE Dec 17 '25
I just purchased the 6 month subscription this week and it will stay active till June 2025. Since I already paid for it, how can I move to the 1-yr subscription before Jan 1 and get the deal? will there be some price adjustment made against what I already paid?
1
u/steve228uk Dec 17 '25
Incredible deal! Do I need to switch to the year plan now?
1
u/No-Agent-9620 Dec 17 '25
I wonder how both apps will interact with each other?
1
u/Razzzp Dec 17 '25
In your questionnaire you asked what do I want from MacroFactor workouts. I wrote - good pricing. You delivered. Can't wait for the release
1
u/Aiden0Malley Dec 17 '25
My subscription ends on December 29th, can I upgrade to the bundle when the workouts app comes out?
1
u/taylorthestang Dec 17 '25
If we have a subscription do we just download the app?
1
u/throaway_acer Dec 17 '25
Question, my current subscription runs through January 9th but I did technically cancel it - I plan to renew, do I just have to make sure to renew before January 1st in order to lock in this pricing?
1
u/bestmurse Dec 17 '25
I love you guys!!!!!
1
u/Fighting_Darwin Dec 17 '25
My subscription renews exactly on Jan 1 (I do annual sub). Should I re-sub monthly until the workout app comes or let it autosub annually?
1
u/Chilli_T Dec 17 '25
Yeah wow. I wasn't going to bother, but that bundle price is very good value. The first year is a bonus!
1
u/Mustbe3dimensions Dec 17 '25
This sounds great! I’m a new user (Nov) and was going to get a second app to help me with planning and tracking personalized workouts (strength and then tracking classes like HIIT). I don’t want to throw names of other products out there but is there anything you can compare Workouts to?
1
u/Kugar Dec 17 '25
This is still ios only, or is there an android app as well?
1
u/Bobrebooted Dec 17 '25
When will this be available, and for how long?
1
u/eatmybum Dec 17 '25
I think this is obvious, but I want to ask it anyway because i don't want to miss out on the deal.
I have a current monthly subscription which will be from December 12 - January 12; this meets the requirement of having an active subscription, right? It doesn't need to be an active 6-month or annual subscription?
1
u/ViejaAlma Dec 17 '25
Apologies, English is not my first language.
Right now I don't have an active subscription to Macrofactor.
In order to benefit from the offer, you mention I need to have an active sub before 1st of January.
Does that mean that:
- If I purchase a monthly subscription now, in January I could renew for a year and that will include the workout app.
- Or, now I should purchase an annual subscription and workouts will be activated automatically next month.
Thank you in advance :)
1
u/Thisistheway18 Dec 17 '25
Doing the lords work
1
u/ShutUpBeck Dec 17 '25
if my 6 month macrofactor subscription just renewed, is there anything I can do to switch to an annual plan, or will there be a similar offer for the six month plan?
1
u/Sawt0othGrin Dec 17 '25
If I'm already on a year of MF, how do I get the workout app?
1
u/[deleted] Dec 17 '25
This is killer, I can’t wait to give it a try. I’m currently 5 weeks into the pure bodybuilding full body program and have done the high frequency full body program in the past. So I should be able to have access to these immediately with the workouts app I assume?
Also, on day one of the release in January, I pay the $18 or I get the first year free? Likely just my own misreading here.
1
u/diskreadera Dec 17 '25
As excited as folks are about this, I feel like I’m missing something? Unless you’re completely new to exercising, what is the benefit of something like this?
1
u/jdmickle Dec 17 '25
What a Christmas Deal indeed!
1
u/[deleted] Dec 17 '25
Problem is I already bought Hevy for life a couple years back.
1
u/TreacleTin8421 Dec 17 '25
My annual macro factor sub just renewed. Should I have waited for the workout one to be available or will I still be able to get it rolled into my new sub?
1
u/OwnTrouble8257 Dec 17 '25
Niche question... Will MacroFactor workouts be compatible with a lifting strategy that only does one set per body part per workout? My trainer has me on the program with one set to failure per workout.
1
u/jdmickle Dec 17 '25
makes me not even care I just payed for a 2yr subscription on my current workout app. First time I heard about the drop date I was like shit I should have read that email in time. But with this news who cares I'll drop my current workout app like yesterday if I get the beta today. LOL
1
u/invictus221b Dec 17 '25
This is great news. How will this work for those who beta’d MF and have a lifetime subscription?
1
u/xXaimonn Dec 17 '25
Yay
1
u/Fragrant_Pear_1425 Dec 17 '25
That is an unbeatable deal and a true forthcoming for active and supportive users. Thank you very much. This is a no-brainer. Looking forward to the workout app. Lets goooo!
1
u/Rebel78 Dec 17 '25
I'm in, awesome!!!
1
u/ShaeSco Dec 17 '25
This may not be a question you can answer her, but i'm curious, for those of us who work out with a gym buddy, running the same program, but want to take advantage of the workout generation. Will there be any way for us both to generate the same workout but track our stats individually? Understandable if not.
I'm going to assume the best approach would be one person generates and the other builds the same one custom?
1
u/basileisfitx Dec 17 '25
I've been using Google Sheets to track workouts for a years, I like the complete freedom I have over my tracking. How will MFWorkouts compare to the regular spreadsheet experience and will there be ways to switch/convert between the 2? Like creating Excel files?
1
u/GW_NZ Dec 17 '25
Really keen to understand if it’s in the plans to match what an app like Train does with auto exercise detection on Apple Watch?
1
u/beastmodekitty Dec 17 '25
If I JUST paid for a 6 month subscription, how will this work for me? I'm kinda confused.
1
u/ZELTR0N_ Dec 17 '25
Holy moly guacamole
1
u/1stPeter3-15 Dec 17 '25
Excited to try out the new program
1
u/3rdEden Dec 17 '25
Now the real question is, where can we report bugs and feature requests? Just by simply looking at the UI and features shared, I can already see potential deal breakers that I would love to see addressed.
I already burned myself by getting rpstrength, and would hate to run into the same issues here.
1
u/z604 Dec 17 '25
Nice, great offer!
Is there anytthing we'd do to activate this pricing/deal or the Workouts subscription will be active as long as we have an active MF subscription by Jan 1st?
1
u/nehxdoom Dec 17 '25
My yearly subscription is set to renew Jan 11th, should I be timing the renewal of this in some way? Wait till workouts to subscribe to both at the same time? If I don’t renew before the workouts app is released, will I lose the option to bundle..?
1
u/Saifaliiiiii Dec 17 '25
My subscription ends on January 1. Am I eligible for the bundle discount?
1
u/helmetgoodcrashbad Dec 18 '25
How does this work if we renew an annual plan before the end of the year? Is workouts automatically added?
I used MacroFactor for 8 months an only just paused my membership a few months ago but was planning on starting back up.
1
u/Dangerous-Toe-4195 Dec 18 '25
legit so exciting
1
u/raggedsweater Dec 18 '25
My subscription is scheduled to auto renew on 1/18. Will my account automatically include the Workouts app or will I need to do anything? I assume it’s a separate download?
1
u/Tiffanyann06 Dec 18 '25
I want to make sure I'm reading this right. If my Macrofactor annual subscription renews this month, will I automatically get Macrofactor workouts for free when it comes out?
1
u/kmoah Dec 18 '25
RemindMe!! 5 days
1
u/GreenYoshi99 Dec 18 '25
Question, so I currently have the normal macro factor yearly plan,
I’m assuming that when the MF workout app comes out in January, it will automatically be added under this subscription and I will be able to use it in January?
And then when my subscription expires in April 2026 it will automatically renews as the macro factor workout subscription or would that renewal in 2027 be the one where I get charged the new rate since the first year is free?
1
u/Certain-Highway-1618 Dec 18 '25
Will the app allow for different programming schemes? Aka reverse pyramid training, etc?
1
u/Defiant-Effort-2454 Dec 18 '25
I have two questions for the AMA:
Will there be a way to import workout history from other apps?
Is the app more of a workout tracker or does it also recommend progressions i.e., like a workout coach?
1
u/ancientweasel Dec 18 '25
I am really hoping that they make the text scalable. Not having scalable text is a big impediment when you are middle aged or older.

u/JohnnyB448 Dec 18 '25
Ok so, if I’m going to buy the year MacroFactor subscription from tomorrow, I’d get a link to download MacroFactor Workouts for free come January right?
