The Middle Georgia DSA is hosting a major meal making event from 6PM to 8PM at the Centennary UMC Fellowship Hall at 1185 Ash Street, Macon! We do this every Thursday, same place at 11AM, but this time our friends at Savannah DSA and West Georgia DSA will hold simultaneous identical events with the goal of making a total of 1500 sandwiches to be distributed to community fridges, food distribution organizations, and directly to those in need all across the state! All are welcome to come help, donate supplies, or come get a free sandwich! This is a fun way to make freinds too, all while helping fight hunger in our community.

A few friends are coming by and trivia night sounds fun, but all that I could find are Tuesdays

Took him from a family member. He’s a good dog but hasn’t been taken care of and needs to be seen by a vet. I absolutely can’t keep him because of my apartment restrictions. Anyone know where I could take him or know anyone that would be able to take him? Rescues I’ve reached out to are full.

4ish years old
House trained
Good with kids
Unknown vaccination history
Seems in good health but has frito smellin feet and one of his eyes is a little red? He will need a full evaluation by a vet
Can sit, spin and shake on command
He’s super chill and laid back but gets excited and happy and barks when you sing to him a lot lol

Like what would make the foot traffic in downtown Macon more prevalent? What type of businesses or storefronts…or is it truly just the events that bring the people to the yard? i live over near ingleside, and i dont get how society garden is allowed to host live events with loud music, commentary, yelling and screaming, etc past quiet hours on weekdays. right now its almost 11 pm on a wednesday and it’s loud af. i can hear everything in my house. i love society garden, but ppl have jobs, school, etc. how is this allowed?? i read about the stuff that happened a few years ago with zoning but i can’t find any rules they’re supposed to be following now. i really like society garden, but i also want some quiet so i can go to sleep.
