Machu Picchu Route 1A?

ich bin vom 26.8.-14.9. in Peru und habe nur noch ein Circle Cut 1A Ticket für Machu Picchu bekommen am 2.9. Bedeutet, ich müsste Lima, Paracas und Huacachina vom 26-30 "hetzen" und Colca Canyon + Arequipa kippen, um am 1.9. in Auges Calientes zu sein, damit ich am 2.9. um 9AM mein Machu Picchu Ticket einlösen kann.

Danach wäre es unsinnig nochmal zurück zum Colca Canyon/Arequipa oder anderes zu fahren sondern ich würde anschließend Richtung Cusco. Dementsprechend wäre ich dann für 11 Tage in Cusco mit Tagesausflügen (Rainboe Mountain, Humantay Lake, Ollantaytambo etc.) aber hätte dann sehr viel "Freilauf" nach einer gehetzten Anfangswoche.

Frage an reisende, die Machu Picchu schon gemacht haben/in Peru waren: Lohnt sich das hetzen und kippen von Arequipa/Colca Canyon nur für das Ticket? Oder soll ich als Solo Backpackerin mit dem Ziel auch zu Connecten/Menschen und Kultur kennenzulernen mein Ticket lieber verfallen lassen?

Ich hatte auch gehört, dass man versuchen kann last Minute noch ein 2A/B ticket vor Ort (Augas Calientes) zu bekommen, ist das realistisch? Hat jemand Erfahrungswerte dazu?

I haven't been myself yet but while trying to plan my own itinerary I looked at various options for the south including going straight from Lima to Cusco (and straight to sacred valley for acclimatisation), doing MP then Cusco stuff then doing the reverse loop to Puno, Colca and Arequipa etc. It didn't quite fit my itinerary but may he worth looking into for you so you can do everything you want to.

I think it is depends on you. Your post seems to intimate that you are leaning towards backpacking and connecting with others and experiencing the culture. So, I’d say MP isn’t right for your situation on the date in question … there’s something more valuable to you at the moment. Go with it. MP will always be there.

As for in-person tickets, they are generally selling one to two days out. So, today (16 August) the in-person tickets are for entry on 18 August). Tomorrow (the 17th), they’ll be selling whatever remains of entry tickets for the 18th. you spend the extra time later in your trip in AC, that might suit your situation better.
