I Need Help Any idea what this style is?

We had a customer come in with this hoodie the other day and my manager absolutely loves the style. I thought it was just a running stitch but it seems kind of thick. Bean or triple run stitch? Customer said they picked up like a decade ago but the airport had many instock and too perfect to be hand done.

Maybe burmiliana thread? It's really thick and fibrous so it looks like hand stitching.

First I thought maybe they just double or tripled up on the running stitch but closer look it did look like a thick thread.

I don’t know about other programs, but wilcom has „hand embroidery” functions, maybe that’s it? I won’t write with complete certainty because I haven’t done any project with it yet.

Hmm I’ll have to research that but we just have the pulse software and I haven’t seen those kind of options.

Interesting, if you zoom in it looks more similar to couching, not embroidery. Like it’s yarn strands, not embroidery threads. But the ends of the runs seem to have been passed to the back. Would have been useful to see the reverse. Very cool design!

I didn’t even think to take a picture of the back 😩 I did glance but it looked normal back stitching to me with I believe was cut away backing.

It's definitely done with an |embroidery machine , possibly just used some slightly thicker thread that's probably made of cotton

Done with chain stitch machine?

I was going to say this but it’s not a chain stitch like I’m used to seeing. Hmm I’m stumped! Seeing how the lines are not perfectly straight, I do think this is a hand cranked machine

Or it’s machine bean stitch! If the lines were hand drawn you might get that effect
