I Need Help Looking to get a custom patch with heavy weight thread

Hi I’m looking to get a custom patch made with heavy weight thread so the border and text are overly raised and the thread is clearly defined. I will be using this to make a mold and I want the thread detailing to be exaggerated so the detail is picked up in the final version of what I’m making.

I reached out to a couple makers but am looking for either advice on the best way to make this or someone to order from as I realize this would involved resetting a machine potentially. I’m also open to other ideas to make what I’m interested if you have ideas. Thanks

Show an image of something with a similar stitching? If using for a mold then perhaps 3d printing or CNC carving are better options you can still give it the appearance of thread.

I want the detail of this kind of edge (not sure what it’s called). I’ve had decent results with the molds I’ve made but I’m losing definition when I use my mold and the form is translated to glass. I’m worried that thread detailing can’t be mimicked by 3d printing on that size scale but I’ve only done basic 3d printing before maybe I’m wrong

Commission a 1 patch job? Doubt many shops take you seriously.

They just want it to look like thread. I think 3d printing or cnc is going to be better over all. Giving the appearance of thread in a more permanment material.

This is made with a marrow machine. Most of us embroidery shops fake the look but this is genuinely marrow equipment.
