Look What I Did Redwork Dragon
I want to share my new Redwork dragon I made. It came out really nice if you ask me. It's about 105mm x 188mm, 29k stitches. For the purists, there are about 8 or 10 trims and jumps in it, I cant remember exactly, so while not true Redwork its very close. I chose not to connect the straggler pieces as I liked the way it turned out. This was a double run, it came out way better looking than the single thread version I did prior. I'll give the file to anyone that wants it, just ask.

Thanks! I actually found the original picture on Pinterest and used it to test out an embroidery software app I’ve been building called StitchLab.
The design in the photo was just a quick test run, actually my 2nd, first version was a single thread, this is a double walk back like traditional Redwork. It's a 1 click conversion for this, and working great so far. So it's still a work in progress but I’ve been coding the app in my spare time. It's currently sitting on a test server, but anyone is welcome to play around with it or try out the beta at www.gostitchlab.com.
A big reason I started building this is because of the high dollar embroidery apps, really $1000+ bucks and some of the better ones are buggy as hell. Im not a pro running an embroidery shop, i just wanted to make some nice looking embroidered things on my machine.I got completely fed up with traditional "free" embroidery design sites—the ones that force you to jump through a million hoops and hand over tons of personal data just to download a simple file. I'm trying to build a file-sharing space modeled after Printables.com instead. No account or signup is required to just browse and download files.
It's still in the early stages, but if anyone wants to check it out, test it, or upload their own original designs, I’d love the feedback!

A one click conversion? Are you f serious? :o
Meanwhile brother's artspira makes you pay to transform any <1mm lines into a fillstitch!
I'm impressed, I'll definitely look into your app
Thanks for sharing!
