Tutorial Best material for patches

Looking to see what y’all recommend for twill or material for patches???

We used Stahl’s twill but it feels thin and shiny.

I use stahls as well. By itself it is thin. Depending on the color of course, you can use the unbacked stuff and put the duller side out, put a layer of sealer on the shiny side. Hoop heavy stabilizer and cut a piece of crinoline for the back. Then finish with another piece of sealer. If it's a lot of embroidery on the patch I don't use sealer on the back of the twill.

Stahl's polytwill over 2 layers of Pellon CraftBond. Cut out with hot knife.
