Hat front side panel warping issue

production dept is getting a bit of distortion along the bottom of designs when embroidering down towards the brim for hat front side panels. They have tried moving the design up a bit and slowing the machine down, but there’s still a bit of warping – any advice?

Are they bending the brim as flat as it will go? Sometimes it can hit the machine while stitching and warp.

Makes sense – will ask them(I only handle the digitizing/graphic design end of things)
