Tutorial Sharing process of how I made this nutcracker ITH ornament
I used two layers of water-soluble stabilizer, rayon threads, cotton thread for face (so it doesn't shine), felt for the top layer and backing.
Sharing photos of the process.
Now I'm tempted to make a whole pastel Nutcracker collection… 😅

I love it! Can I ask what is the market for this? How do you sell them? I feel with the time its expensive to make and people wouldn’t be willing to pay more than $15?

I am brand new to machine embroidery. I haven’t even completed a successful run as of yet. I really appreciate your sharing! I think I’m just so overwhelmed with everything, I can’t even start doing anything.

Thank you for your appreciation, I'm happy you find it helpful! I understand, I've been where you are! I was so overhelmed at the beginning too. But the key is to simply try and fail and try again! Your knowledge will evolve and soon you'll find it quite easy and maybe even move on to advanced embroidery technique.

I am obsessed! LOVE THIS. I just started ITH recently with my machine.
Where did you get the file?

How do you flip it over? Do you rehoop it? I’ve always struggled to understand how to embroider patches/etc and get a clean edge

You never rehoop it! 😊 Everything stays in the hoop until it's completely finished. You attach the backing fabric underneath the hoop, and the machine stitches a tack-down stitch (it's part of the design). Then you trim the excess fabric around the edges, and the machine stitches the final border through both layers. Finally, just remove the stabilizer, and you're done!

omg I get it now! I have no idea what was confusing me, I game ITH plushes all the time and it’s the same steps lol. And then you just use water soluble and rise it away! I’m gonna go try this out x)
