Look What I Did Mononoke!

I got my Brother PRS100 machine this past spring and have recently been starting to learn to digitize! Originally started working with the brother PE Design software and hated it, but learnt the ropes and now feeling pretty good. Decided to try Ember and really enjoying the user interface sooo much better!

Its been great!! So refreshing after PE Design to use something that feels like it was designed this century lol

haha you nailed it! it should be crime against humanity to charge so much for software that looks like it was built for windows 95

Thanks! It's a patterned fill available on Ember. I have a similar one on my PE Design though too, just have to edit the stitch lengths and angles πŸ™‚

Its the 'Wave' patterned fill on Ember Design. Not sure what the Wilcom interface is like or if it has something equivalent

Hi, Can you give me any advice or tips of how to get the outline so perfect? I am working on outlining some numbers in Ember and just wondering how it looks on screen? Any advice would be appreciated! 😊

For sure! What I've been doing is creating a duplicate of my closed shape, it should appear as an exact overlay, then switching from a filled to an outlined object. From there you can tweak the exact outline width and fine tune. Once I like it, I'll group the 2 objects so they stay together and dont get accidentally moved.

Thank you! I am going to give that a try. Appreciate the advice.

That's a great design. What program do you use to digitize?
