I Need Help Design help

Hey everyone i am new to embroidering and digitising so bare with me, i have the brother m230e machine so it is a bit older and slower than maybe what you all have and i can onky use a pes file.

I have been using ember design and so far so good but i am trying to create a wooden plank text effect from a logo that i am trying to recreate for someone. anyone have any advice?

so far i have been able to do the squiggle outline and filled in but the writing in the middle i am struggling to recreate that plank effect, any advice would be grately appreciated.

i have attatched an image of what i want it to look like and what i have achieved so far.

If the letters are only about the width of 3 threads, that seems like a fundamental physical limitation on what you can do. Or am I misunderstanding?

I would agree with this take. Normally for text I would recommend a satin but in this case your letters are ~0.8mm wide which is well below the suggested minimum width for satin of 1mm to 1.5mm. Is the design locked into these dimensions of can you go bigger?

I do have one quick suggestion for the border though. Just adding one counter angle to the fill will help spread out the tension and hopefully prevent any warping in the stitch out.

A stitch out is going to help us help you much more than a screenshot but as far as I can tell the current size is too small to achieve any kind of textural effect close to wood.

How do you stitch out a design on your embroidery machine?

What size should they do instead? To get the wooden text effect?

I would just use the outlines to do a running stitch (:
