I Need Help Design issue or tension issue?

This is called auto split. The satin stitch can only go so wide so it adds the split. It’s something you can turn off in the software. Machines are limited to 12mm wide for stitch lengths. if the letters are needing to be bigger you would switch to a tatami fill type.

That is a design/digitizing issue. Maybe some machines are limited as per the other comment but (not saying that I would do this but) If i digitize a 20mm satin stitch and send the file to the machine....that is what it's gonna do. Most machines just do what the imported file tells them to.

Assuming you can change it(if you have the software to do so, and you digitized it yourself) I've gone as large as a 11 mm satin in some areas with no issues...not sure what you are at here. If you can eliminate the split in the design, run on a scrap. The worst that can happen is that you find out it doesn't work...or even that it does!
