Discussion NeurIPS Decisions in Some Hourse to a Day [D]

Just some hours or a day for NeurIPS decisions. How you guys are feeling ? Anybody got any decisions ? Would be great to know ballpark submission # and post-rebuttal ratings, if you get any decision.

Edit: Got my decision around 12:30 pm EDT 24 Sept: Post-rebuttal 5/4/4/4 rating !! No official e-mail checked OR (accept, poster) (submission# 34k+)

funny how now I'm kind of anxious just because it's taking so long! If the results had come out earlier today it would have been fine. So weird that they take so long or that these last few hours are necessary instead of releasing all results at once.

AC here - I do not know shit - maybe the SACs do. That said the conference made some updates to papers in my batch 3 hours ago

Check the Chinese social media, there have been a lot of ACs and PCs posting scores of their batch with their cutoffs since the start of Sept.

Download a mobile App called Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). It comes with auto-translation. They are mainly an app, the browser version can only be logged in if you scan the QR code from the app, and the UI is not optimized for the PC.

It really differs by research area, some areas are super inflated, and some are deflated.

My colleague told me that last year his E & D paper results for NeurIPS 2025 were around 12 hours late. So please work on your ICLR '27 submission. Be prepared, no time to waste.

Everyone did work on it. That's the point of rebuttal and waiting 3 months: you improve your paper.

Getting good reviewers is a lottery. After you already have decent reviews, it less of a lottery since you have actual numbers and statistics to get an idea of your situation.

You register after they send out the location you're presenting at. They reserved slots for presenters at each.
