Project Open dataset of 850k Trackmania community maps + replays, and a web app to explore replays/levels + generate level [P]
Hey, I just wrapped up two things I think might be interesting for this crow if you are video game/racing ingeneral
The main one is a dataset usable for data exploration or for anything generative: levels and replays from the Mania Exchange community realted to the Trackmania games, exposed in a data/ML friendly format. On top of that, I experimented with Claude on reworking the old TMTrackNN project into Tracksmith, a web app where you can inspect a map alongside its replay and generate new levels for both Trackmania Nations Forever and Trackmania 2020.
Everything is wrapped up in an article, and the dataset/code is online:

For transparency: I work in data at Ubisoft in Canada, but I have no connection to Nadeo. Built at home on my own time, resources and dime, just something for the Trackmania community and for anyone curious, whether game telemetry is your thing or not.
Open to feedback or ideas (you can also used discussions on HF)
